Your Support Makes this Possible.
Eremos Collective is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. No corporate sponsors. No institutional safety net. Just a small team doing the work of restoring wild food literacy, building community, and documenting ecological knowledge before it disappears.
Every dollar goes directly into the field.
Sponsored seats — Free and sliding-scale spots on excursions and workshops for families who cannot afford them. Nobody gets priced out of learning what grows in their own watershed.
The little house — Our community hub on Virginia Street. Processing space, gathering place, the physical center of everything we are building. Keeping it open costs money even when it is small.
Documentation — The slow, unglamorous work of recording what we find, where it grows, how it behaves, and what it offers. Species data, seasonal records, field guides. A body of knowledge that outlasts us.
Community programming — Foraging days, seed swaps, trail runs, volunteer workdays. The connective tissue that turns interested strangers into actual neighbors.
Education access — Field-based science instruction for K–12, homeschool, and microschool students. Standards-aligned, experiential, and led by a credentialed instructor with nearly twenty years in the field. Your support helps us reach more kids.
Give What You Can
Whether it is twenty dollars or twenty thousand, it lands directly and it matters. All donations are tax-deductible. You will receive a receipt for your records.
Other Ways to Support
Not everyone can give money, and that is fine. Here are other ways to help:
Show up. Come to a foraging day, a seed swap, a volunteer workday. Community is built by presence.
Spread the word. Tell someone about what we are doing. Share a blog post. Mention us to a homeschool family looking for real science education.
Volunteer. We need hands in the field, help at the little house, and people willing to do the unglamorous work that keeps everything running.
Shop. Every purchase from Eremos Outfitters funds programming directly. Gear designed by foragers for foragers.
